Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co., part of Kiewit, seeks an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to join the Field Operations team. You will help interpret drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, and support both field and office engineering tasks on large underground projects.

Responsibilities include assisting with work plans, surveys, cost data, and safety reviews; periodic travel to project sites across North America is expected as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field of engineering.
• Strong desire to work in underground construction.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as projects require.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform quantity calculations and measurements for work.
• Assist in preparing work plans and packages.
• Support field surveying and as-built data collection.
• Assist in labor timekeeping and JHA preparation.
• Support underground tunneling and construction operations.
• Participate in safety reviews and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate material deliveries and schedules.
• Plan and coordinate work groups on site.
• Supervise field operations and support office engineering tasks.
• Assist in material takeoffs and basic engineering calculations.
• Prepare submittals, transmittals, and data for customers and vendors.
