Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Field/Office Engineer for its Foundations Co in the Transportation market. The role involves field and office engineering activities across underground and foundation projects, with opportunities for travel and site experience.

The position requires a construction-related bachelor's degree and willingness to relocate, with responsibilities spanning quantity takeoffs, drafting support, scheduling, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field (civil, mining, mechanical, geotechnical, CM).
• Limited prior field experience is acceptable for entry-level roles.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and takeoffs from drawings and measurements.
• Assist in preparation of work plans and work packages.
• Assist in field surveying and layout support including elevations and control points.
• Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets and JHA preparation.
• Support underground tunneling and construction operations with field engineers.
• Participate in safety reviews, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Coordinate material deliveries and schedule work groups on site.
• Support office/field collaboration for data submittals and cost tracking.
• Assist in generating change orders and as-built data for PM review.
