Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Field Engineer to support the construction of a large-scale data center in rural Texas. This entry-level project management role works with project teams, field leadership, and jobsite stakeholders to deliver mechanical scopes safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a passion for problem solving, strong communication, and a desire to grow into a project management career at Harder.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business management, mechanical, industrial, civil engineering or equivalent.
• Previous internship experience in construction or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute a specific scope of the project assigned.
• Coordinate with field labor to ensure safety, on schedule, and quality.
• Review drawings and compile project scope and quantities.
• Monitor field construction and track progress weekly.
• Prepare and monitor work packages, including labor and cost estimates.
• Organize project records in a document control system.
