Harder Mechanical Contractors seeks a Field Engineer to support planning, scheduling, and execution of project scopes. This entry-level role offers a path into project management, working with field labor to meet safety, schedule, and quality standards across commercial, technology, and industrial sectors.

You will review drawings, estimate work packages, track progress, and help maintain documentation while learning LEAN construction principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• Previous internship in construction or engineering
• Proficient in MS Office and Bluebeam; intermediate Excel
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute a defined project scope
• Coordinate with field labor to ensure safety, schedule, and quality
• Review drawings and determine project scope and quantities
• Prepare work packages with labor and cost estimates
• Track progress and update status weekly
• Organize project records in a document control system
