Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors Inc is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support the construction of a large-scale data center project in rural Texas. You will coordinate with field teams to plan, schedule, and execute assigned scopes safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with a passion for problem solving, strong communication, and a willingness to travel to gain experience across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience or education
• Previous internship experience, preferably with a focus on construction or engineering

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute assigned project scope safely and on schedule
• Coordinate with field labor to meet quality standards
• Review construction drawings and compile project scope and quantities
• Track construction progress and update status weekly
• Prepare and monitor work packages, including labor and cost estimates
• Organize project records in document control system
• Travel to other regions to gain exposure to additional markets
