Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. This role offers recent graduates a strong foundation by contributing to water and wastewater projects, supporting planning, design, and implementation of facilities, sewer systems, and pipelines.

You will work with experienced engineers to develop solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 0 years of experience; travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support site assessments, water quality analyses, and engineering modeling.
• Develop and adjust design parameters based on project needs.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and client presentations.
• Use ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CAD and Excel to support engineering and design work.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams across the project lifecycle.
• Participate in fieldwork and construction management activities.
