Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, a leading exterior building products manufacturer, is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician I at its Houston facility. You will assist with equipment installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance, while following safety rules and working with CMMS systems.

The role supports electric energy generation and distribution within the plant. The position requires a high school diploma, up to two years of related maintenance experience, and ability to read

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years related maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and shop machines.
• Must read measuring devices and be able to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Level II/III technicians with equipment installations, repairs or modifications.
• Follow safety rules in manufacturing environment.
• Repair and install electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, and conduit systems.
• Diagnose and correct electrical system issues using standard computations.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections to ensure product quality per order specs.
