Cornerstone Building Brands in Dunmore, PA is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician I. You will assist skilled technicians with electrical installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent and 2 years related maintenance experience. The position offers day-to-day safety practices, a chance to grow skills, and benefits as part of a full-time team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years related maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly.
• Work near moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Level II and III technicians with installations, repairs, or modifications of electrical equipment.
• Follow safety rules in a manufacturing environment.
• Repair and install electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units and conduit systems.
• Read blueprints, layouts, and verbal instructions.
• Use welding equipment for layout and fixtures.
• Diagnose and correct electrical system issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain buildings and perform minor repairs.
• Notify management about major repairs or lighting/heating/ventilation needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• May be assigned additional projects by Team Leader.
