Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations. You will diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems, perform equipment setup, and maintain mechanical and electrical components in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, 3–7 years in manufacturing maintenance, and readiness for training and overtime. Safety is a priority, with LOTO procedures and strong documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent related experience.
• 3-7 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Ability to work standby shifts and overtime as required.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• Willing to train Level I & II technicians.
• Basic fabrication knowledge (welding, machining).
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems.
• Set up equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components.
• Diagnose electrical control circuits and sensors.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and controls.
• Enter all completed work in the maintenance program.
• Train Level I/II technicians in complex tasks.
• Assist in parts ordering and inventory management.
