Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking an Instrumentation, Data & Control (ID&C) Engineer to join the AEDC team at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. You will help operate and maintain high-precision instrumentation and data acquisition systems for national security testing.

This posting targets candidates with less than 5 years of post-degree experience, offering hands-on design, system verification, and cross-team collaboration with engineers and craft workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics from an accredited college.
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance and access to AEDC networks.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to Air Force security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop ID&C system requirements and specs using CAD/CAE tools.
• Deploy, support, and monitor ID&C systems during ground test operations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain ID&C systems through lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain Automated Control and HMI software.
• Evaluate engineering methods and vendor/ subcontractor documents.
• Design, develop, and execute System Verification & Validation (V&V) plans.
• Complete tasks on schedule following common work processes across the function.
