Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks an Electrical Systems Engineer to support Test Operations and Sustainment at Arnold AFB, TN. The role involves maintaining large electrical systems that support aeronautic engine testing, with duties from installation to upgrades and safety compliance.

You will work under senior engineers, ensuring equipment readiness and coordinating with multiple teams while upholding DoD security requirements.

Qualifications

BS degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
0–4 years of professional electrical engineering experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.
U.S. citizenship required due to contract compliance.

Responsibilities

Respond to system malfunctions and direct corrective maintenance to return to service.
Update and maintain system documentation for systems of responsibility.
Collaborate with design engineering, fabrication shops, DoD client, and contractors.
Develop advanced maintenance plans with Asset Health Assurance personnel.
Conduct system safety hazard analyses and write work instructions for operation and maintenance.
Assess and communicate risk to stakeholders.
Develop estimates for improvement projects.
Coordinate with planners, schedulers, and craft supervisors for safe planning and execution of projects.
Provide technical leadership and assist craft personnel with troubleshooting.
