Job summary

Intermountain Health in Lafayette, CO is seeking an Echo Tech to support our diagnostic team with cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams. This role is designed for recent graduates or entrants to the field, with part-time shifts (30 hours/week, 3/10s) and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; education from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with medical staff.
• Prepare for exams with patient identification and education.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes.
• Document results and apply correct charge codes.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; mentor students and caregivers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and education opportunities.
• Coordinate with physicians, caregivers, patients, and families.
