Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff.
• Prepare patients and educate on procedures; transport as needed.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; document results and communicate findings.
• Mentor students and other caregivers on equipment use and techniques.
