Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an entry level Digital Hardware Design Engineer to collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams. You will design and test Circuit Card Assemblies for avionics computers, and perform schematic capture for digital/analog circuits to ensure performance targets are met.

The role emphasizes collaboration, hands-on testing, and learning across cross-functional partners in a safety-critical aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM degree.
• Familiarity with electronic circuit design and multi-assembly system design.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate and test Circuit Card Assemblies for Avionics Computers (Processors, FPGAs, Memory, high-speed interfaces).
• Operate lab equipment to perform integration testing on hardware designs.
• Schematic capture of digital/analog mixed signal designs.
