Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for the Avionics Test Engineering team to develop and support manufacturing and service test solutions. You will work on hardware and software tasks, test stations and a range of equipment to test Collins Aerospace products.

Ideal candidates will read schematics, have RF experience, and hold a STEM degree with substantial relevant experience. The role is onsite with global collaboration and potential relocation opportunities.

Qualifications

  • STEM degree with 5+ years experience for advanced degree option.
  • Ability to read electronic schematics.
  • Experience working on RF devices.

Responsibilities

  • Review product designs and create test solutions for manufacturing and service environments.
  • Design, analyze, test, integrate and document hardware of moderate to high complexity.
  • Develop and support HW & SW test solutions and automate test procedures.
  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure electrical design feasibility.
  • Prepare and present technical information to peers and management.
