Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead the digital design of a PCB from inception through layout and assembly, focusing on communications products. Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and delivering comprehensive design documentation.

The candidate should have 2+ years in CCA development, experience with Xpedition, BOM creation, lab testing, and readiness for U.S. government security clearance. Onsite work with strong collaboration across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with schematic capture tools using Siemens Xpedition Toolset or equivalent.
• Experience with selecting parts and creating BOM/PL.
• Experience with bench level testing, troubleshooting & lab equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an electrical engineer developing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA).
• Degree in STEM and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Generate and update schematics with microcontrollers, FPGAs, memory interfaces and supporting circuitry.
• Deliver fully detailed databases and documentation for PWB/CCA fabrication with ECAD partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering disciplines for robustness and producibility.
• Perform/Support Design Verification and Troubleshooting.
• Produce and present Design Documentation.
