GFL Industries in Pottsboro, TX, is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician to assist with preventative maintenance and basic repairs on a fleet of Diesel and CNG vehicles under shop leadership. You will participate in inspections, handle routine PM tasks, and support diagnosis and safety checks to keep vehicles road-ready.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, ordering parts, maintaining a clean work area, and following DOT/OSHA regulations.

Formación

• 1+ years experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Willingness to learn more complex diagnostic and repair processes.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and related regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance manuals.
• CDL Class A or B preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• ASE certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with inspection of brake systems, engines, emissions, steering and wheel bearings.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire, oil and brake changes.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
• Complete work orders and order parts.
• Maintain safe working conditions and a clean work area.
• Assist with DOT, PM, brake and safety inspections under supervision.
