Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0–1 year of desktop support or IT help desk experience.
• Basic hardware and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting software.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience using an IT ticketing system is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Logical, systematic troubleshooting approach.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Ability to work onsite daily.
• Reliable transportation to travel to local sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Level 1 desktop and technical support to end users.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, OS, software, and connectivity issues.
• Set up and configure laptops, desktops, monitors, and IT equipment.
• Install/replace RAM and disk drives and upgrade operating systems.
• Deploy Windows/macOS and Office 365 applications.
• Assist with OS deployment and imaging.
• Support Office 365 and standard business apps.
• Troubleshoot VPN, antivirus, authentication, and app issues.
• Perform system health checks, updates, patching, encryption, security tasks.
• Test equipment after changes and document steps in tickets.
