Job summary

The State Museum Commission in Richland County, South Carolina, is seeking an IT CRM Administrator (Entry-Level) to support CRM and ticketing/database systems, ensuring accurate visitor and donor data and smooth program registrations.

You will work under the Director of Information Technology, collaborating with Visitor Services, Education, Development, Marketing, and other departments in a dynamic nonprofit museum setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; IT experience helpful.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Museum Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
• Basic understanding of databases and data structures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to assist nontechnical users.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily CRM and ticketing system administration and data entry.
• Provide user support and routine reports; help with data cleanup.
• Set up exhibitions and ticket types in the system.
• Troubleshoot CRM and database issues; escalate complex problems.
• Maintain data accuracy and quality checks.
• Support training materials and user guides.
• Participate in testing system updates and new features.
• Collaborate with multiple departments on ticketing and membership data.
