Job summary

Together SC is seeking a Visitor Services & Volunteer Coordinator to develop visitor services excellence, manage the Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage venue rental program, and revitalize an active volunteer program in Ridgeland, SC.

You will greet visitors, coordinate front desk coverage, schedule volunteers, lead tours, support events, and handle outreach with local schools. A Bachelor’s degree and nonprofit experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in museum studies, history, education, or related field.
• Experience in a non-profit, museum, or cultural organization.
• Experience coordinating volunteers and managing visitor services.

Responsibilities

• Visitor Services: greet visitors, schedule volunteers for front desk, conduct tours, process purchases, track visitor data.
• Venue Rental: lead venue rental program, develop SOPs, field inquiries, conduct tours, manage contracts and staffing.
• Outreach: promote and coordinate field trips with schools; support Fuel the Mind programs.
• Volunteer Management: recruit, supervise, train, and lead volunteers; organize training and schedules; attend recruitment fairs.
