The Nineteenth Judicial Circuit seeks a Desktop Support Technician I to deliver entry-level IT support for judges and staff across multiple counties. Support is provided by phone, email, remote tools, and in person at courthouses.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in information technology, computer science, MIS, or related field.
• 1 year of information technology desktop support, help desk, or network/desktop support experience.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to service requests via helpdesk; diagnose hardware, software, OS, and connectivity issues on-site and remotely.
• Install, configure, image, and deploy desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and peripherals.
• Set up and troubleshoot audio/visual equipment for courtrooms, meetings, and events.
• Document, categorize, and update support tickets; escalate to higher-tier IT staff.
• Install and support court applications; train users on new and existing apps.
• Provide basic support for network operations, user accounts, and server/database environments.
• Maintain inventory tracking and asset management for court-owned tech.
• Create and update knowledge base articles and end-user documentation.
• Gather user needs and recommend hardware, software, and network solutions in non-technical terms.
• Transport equipment and travel between courthouse locations; other duties as assigned.
