Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Completion of Orientation and safety trainings.
• Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission.
• Food handler’s permit.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; Culinary Arts certificate/2-year degree preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience; high-volume cooking or fine dining preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, menus, recipes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds; stand for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ingredient preparation (washing, chopping, measuring).
• Review kitchen tickets and prepare plates accordingly.
• Cook dishes following standard recipes for taste and presentation.
• Maintain clean, safe kitchen workspace and sanitation practices.
• Stock supplies and monitor inventory of ingredients/equipment.
• Operate ovens, fryers, grills safely and efficiently.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist in plating and garnishing before serving.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve culinary skills.
