Cache Creek Casino Resort is seeking a Cook II to ensure top-quality food preparation and presentation across kitchen stations in a fast-paced casino environment.

You will prepare menu and banquet items, follow recipes, maintain inventory, and collaborate with front and back of house staff while adhering to HACCP standards. Training will cover operation of equipment and knife skills. Exceptional teamwork is essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year kitchen service experience in a high quality restaurant, resort, or hotel.
• Knife and equipment skills and knowledge of hot & cold food.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare all necessary menu items and banquet items including soups and sauces as directed by the Chef-on-Duty.
• Demonstrate quality food production and presentation.
• Communicate effectively with front and back of house staff.
• Take daily inventory of the production walk-in and present a production list to the Chef-on-Duty for verification.
• Coordinate daily tasks, production checklists, and casino events with peers.
• Prepare hot foods, sandwiches, salads and dressings as needed.
• Operate large volume cooking equipment (grill, fryers, griddles, ovens, steamers) after training.
• Perform knife cuts and maintain HACCP standards for meat, fish, poultry, vegetables and dairy.
• Rotate food using FIFO; ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Maintain clean, sanitized workstations and restock as needed.
• Assist with special events and other outlets as required by the Chef-on-Duty.
