Job summary

LGG INDUSTRIAL in Roanoke, VA is seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician to install and service conveyor belts and components. You will splice belts (mechanical or vulcanized) and perform onsite customer service, reporting to the Field Service Supervisor.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined with basic math, able to travel to customer sites, and committed to safety. A high school diploma/GED, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Basic math skills and use of a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Work with Field Service Supervisors to achieve goals.
• Understand quality processes and documentation.
• Communicate general and quality-related concerns to management.
• Provide onsite customer service and support.
• Install conveyor belts with mechanical or vulcanized splice.
• Know tools and machinery applicable to the job.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Perform other duties as trained and qualified.
