Job summary

LGG Industrial seeks a Field Service Specialist in Roanoke, VA to splice and install conveyor belts, lead small field-service tasks, and support customers on-site. The role requires travel, a safety-first mindset, and mechanical proficiency.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years with conveyors, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently with basic computer skills. We offer a robust benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• At least 3 years of experience with conveyors and conveyor components.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to safely drive a company truck or other equipment.
• Overtime, nights and weekends as required.
• Regular travel to job sites.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam or hold a current DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Lead field service tasks or small jobs on sites.
• Perform conveyor belt installation with mechanical or vulcanized splice.
• Coordinate with Field Service Supervisors and team members.
• Provide onsite customer service and communicate concerns to management.
• Understand tools and machinery applicable to the job.
• Travel to out-of-town jobs as needed.
• Perform other duties as trained and qualified.
