Job summary

LGG INDUSTRIAL in Wheeling, WV is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and service conveyor belts and related components on customer sites. This full-time, non-exempt role involves travel to out-of-town jobs and hands-on work with mechanical and vulcanized splices.

The position emphasizes safety, customer service, and accurate documentation, with opportunities for training and career growth within our safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work independently.
• Ability to travel regularly.
• DOT physical or DOT medical card may be required.
• Ability to read and measure with a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform conveyor belt installation with mechanical or vulcanized splice.
• Provide onsite customer service and communicate quality concerns to management.
• Travel to out-of-town jobs as needed.
• Operate tools and machinery relevant to the role.
