Job summary

LGG INDUSTRIAL is seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician in Roanoke, VA. This full-time, non-exempt position involves installing and splicing conveyor belts and related components at customer sites, with travel to out-of-town jobs as needed.

The role requires basic mechanical and computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and a clean driving record. Safety training and on-the-job instruction are provided.

Qualifications

• Be able to work overtime, evenings and weekends as required.
• Travel to out-of-town jobs as needed.
• Possess excellent customer service skills and interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Basic mechanical skills including use of hand tools.
• Basic computer skills including internet and email.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Work with Field Service Supervisors to meet goals and objectives.
• Understand and document quality processes; communicate concerns.
• Provide onsite customer service and perform conveyor belt installation with splice.
• Travel is required as part of the job.
• Operate tools and machinery applicable to the role.
