Job summary

LGG INDUSTRIAL is seeking a Field Service Specialist in Wheeling, WV. The role focuses on conveyor belting installation and splicing, with responsibilities spanning onsite customer service and field service duties.

The position requires a mechanically inclined professional with at least 3 years of conveyor experience, strong safety adherence, and ability to travel. OT, weekends, and driving a company truck may be required.

Qualifications

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
At least 3 years of experience working with conveyors and conveyor components.
Have a high school diploma/GED.
Reliable transportation is a must.
Be able to work independently.
Ability to safely drive a Company truck.
Ability to work overtime, as required.
Background checks and drug screening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements).
Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, or have a current DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
Work closely with Field Service Supervisors and team members to attain goals and objectives.
Demonstrate understanding of Quality process and documentation.
Communicate general and quality-related concerns to management.
Provide onsite customer service.
Perform conveyor belt installation with mechanical or vulcanized splice.
Understand tools and machinery applicable to the job.
Travel is a required part of the job.
Perform other duties as trained and qualified for.
