Job summary

LGG Industrial in Roanoke, VA is seeking an entry-level Conveyor Belting Technician. Responsibilities include splicing and installing conveyor belts, and assisting field service tasks to meet customer and industry requirements.

The role requires travel, adherence to safety and quality processes, and the ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed. Training will cover OSHA and MSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Be able to travel regularly and work overtime, including nights and weekends as required.
• Background checks, drug screening, and a physical may be required (DOT).
• Basic math skills and ability to measure with a tape measure.
• Ability to operate company vehicle and safely drive on-site and to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform conveyor belt installation with mechanical or vulcanized splice.
• Provide onsite customer service and communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Travel to out-of-town jobs as needed and assist in warehouse tasks.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and maintain quality documentation.
