Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our Wisconsin team. No prior experience is required; you will learn under experienced professionals to safely perform a variety of field tasks, including soils, aggregates, and concrete testing, on project sites.

You will receive paid training and support for certifications, with opportunities for career development while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• No experience required and paid training provided.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and insurance required.
• Willing to learn CMT principles and ASTM standards.
• OSHA 10 certification may be required.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to work with contractors, peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Field Activities: observe, test, and sample soils, aggregates, and concrete on sites.
• Testing Procedures: perform routine field/lab tests following standards.
• Data Collection: compute data from tests and assist with related duties.
• Communication: report site conditions and testing needs to supervisors.
• Training and Development: learn ECS methods and document findings precisely.
