Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a motivated Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our Auburn, AL team. No experience is required as comprehensive training and mentorship are provided to learn soils, aggregates, and concrete testing on site.

You'll work under seasoned professionals, perform field sampling and basic testing, and help maintain equipment while communicating with project managers and contractors to ensure safe, compliant field operations.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; paid training provided.
• Must lift up to 85 pounds and handle field logistics.
• Willing to develop understanding of CMT principles and field safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete on field sites.
• Perform routine field tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using standard methods.
• Collect data and assist with calculations, drafting, and administrative duties as needed.
