Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Construction Coordinator I to support project teams on-site in Texas. You will collect punch lists, manage inventory, process invoices, and assist with document controls while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

You will work with diverse teams, learn construction management software, and contribute to safety and quality on the job site, reporting to the project manager with strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience on a construction job site preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet research.
• Ability to learn CM software and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize punch lists, inventory, and work production plans.
• Process invoices and billing under supervision.
• Train new project admins/clerks.
• Perform basic inventory control and document controls.
• Assist with record retention and document controls.
• Perform basic field quality and safety inspections.
• Document conformance to plans and specs.
• Recommend potential solutions.
• Promote Mortenson's safety culture.
• Build relationships across diverse backgrounds and levels.
• All other duties as assigned.
