Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking an entry-level Service/Repair Technician to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and servicing commercial food equipment, with on-call and after-hours duties as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and adherence to standard operating procedures. A high school diploma or GED and basic mechanical/electrical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years electrical/mechanical experience preferred.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate preferred.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking/refrigeration equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install basic mechanical commercial food equipment and assist in more advanced installs.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain basic mechanical commercial food equipment for customers on contract or T&M basis.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance on basic equipment.
• Follow safety manuals, SOPs, and quality standards while on site.
