Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking an entry-level Service/Repair Technician to support Hobart Service customers on-site. The role includes installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial food equipment, with on-call, after-hours, holiday, and weekend support.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or GED) with 0-2 years of electrical/mechanical experience; a associate degree or certificate is preferred. Travel and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate preferred.
• Mechanical or electrical experience preferred.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking/refrigeration equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install basic mechanical commercial food equipment and assist in more advanced installs.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair basic mechanical commercial food equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance on basic mechanical equipment.
• Follow Hobart Service safety manuals and programs.
