Job summary

WestStar is seeking an entry-level Credit Analyst I to support the commercial lending team with the credit underwriting process. You will gather financial data, analyze statements, and help prepare credit presentations for client renewals.

The role offers hands-on exposure to underwriting, loan documentation, and pricing ROEs within the bank's systems. A Bachelor’s degree and strong analytical skills are required, with travel to client meetings possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize financial data and loan documents.
• Assist with financial statement analysis and spreads.
• Prepare basic credit presentations and renewals.
• Conduct preliminary borrower and market condition research.
• Update loan documentation in nCino.
• Price basic loan ROEs using internal pricing model.
• Support senior analysts with administrative tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
