Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst II/III to perform financial statement spreading, underwriting and credit analysis to support commercial lending and portfolio management. The role focuses on preparing credit memos for new money requests and may support annual reviews and modifications.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 3–5 years of relevant lending experience, with formal credit training a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, accounting, finance or related discipline.
• 3 - 5 years relevant commercial lending or credit administration experience, specifically related to C&I lending.
• Formal credit training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely, high quality credit analysis and recommendations evaluating credit actions.
• Engage in the Opportunity Memo process and participate on OM calls.
• Analyze financial statements, industry risk, loan structure and market conditions to assess creditworthiness.
• Utilize spreading software and other tools to evaluate cash flow and debt coverage.
• Underwrite, identify risks, and prepare narratives for memos to support requests for new money, renewals and modifications.
• Work with the credit approval team to determine structuring, documentation and risk controls.
