Responsibilities

• Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Develops a working knowledge of commercial insurance and learns to manage an inventory of low complexity claims by completing a formal training program and following protocols.
• Interacts with insureds, claimants and partners to achieve quality and timely updates.
• Verifies coverage, estimates potential claim valuation, and follows claim handling protocols.
• Gathers information, takes statements, and collaborates with experts to verify facts of the claim.
• Collaborates with internal and external resources to facilitate best claim outcomes.
