Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Prior corporate internship(s) is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve low complexity commercial claims under supervision.
• Investigate and verify policy coverage and gather information per protocols.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants and business partners professionally.
• Verify coverage and establish reserves following claim handling protocols.
• Determine liability by conducting investigations and collecting statements.
• Escalate to manager as appropriate and authorize disbursements within authority.
• Maintain documentation and ensure timely updates and quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with state/local regulations for the line of business.
