Qualifications

  • No experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
  • Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and follow laws and company policies.
  • Willing to develop knowledge of CMT principles and ASTM standards leading to certifications.
  • OSHA 10 certification may be required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with contractors, peers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Field Activities: Observe, test, and sample materials (soils, aggregates, concrete) at project sites under supervision.
  • Testing Procedures: Conduct routine field and/or lab tests per industry standards.
  • Data Collection: Perform calculations and data reduction; assist with drafting and admin tasks as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain daily site communications; report changes and attend project meetings; manage field equipment.
  • Training and Development: Receive ECS methodology training and document findings with engineering precision.
