Job summary

You will conduct field sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, and concrete, coordinating with project teams. Safety training, OSHA 10, and ongoing development are emphasized for growth.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Willing to develop understanding of heavy construction safety.
• Willing to obtain knowledge of CMT principles and ASTM standards.
• OSHA 10 certification may be required.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, writing).
• Must lift up to 85 pounds and have a valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Field Activities: Observe, test, and sample soils, aggregates, and concrete on sites under supervision.
• Testing Procedures: Perform routine field tests following industry standards.
• Data Collection: Calculate and reduce data from sampling and testing.
• Communication: Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and project managers; report changes.
• Training and Development: Learn ECS methodology for observations and testing; document findings precisely.
