ECS Group of Companies in Phoenix is hiring a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician. No experience is required; you will learn under experienced professionals while performing field sampling, testing, and data collection on construction sites.

Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training provided.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Willing to develop understanding of CMT principles and ASTM laboratory standards.
• OSHA 10 certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete at project sites.
• Execute tasks based on project requirements under guidance of senior technicians and project managers.
• Perform routine field and/or laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using industry-standard methods.
• Collect data and perform calculations; assist with calculations, drafting, and other admin duties as requested.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers; organize field equipment as needed.
