Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Princeton is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician. No experience required; paid training is provided and certification fees are covered.

You’ll work under the guidance of seasoned professionals to learn to safely perform a variety of field tasks. As you gain skills, you’ll observe, sample, and test soils, aggregates, and concrete on project sites, perform data reduction, and communicate findings to the team.

Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training provided.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift at least 85 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Willing to learn CMT principles and ASTM standards.
• OSHA 10 certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Observe, test, and sample soils, aggregates, and concrete at project sites under guidance.
• Perform routine field tests and support data collection and calculations.
• Communicate site conditions and testing needs with supervisors and contractors.
• Assist with field equipment organization and safety compliance.
