Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Site Design Staff Engineer to contribute to civil infrastructure design for utility-scale solar projects. You’ll aid in designing access roads and work pads while supporting permitting and field activities.

You will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to deliver civil design plan sets on time and within budget, communicating clearly with clients and teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training or Engineering Intern certification, or the ability to pass the FE exam within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Serve as design team member supporting permitting, design, and construction of renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate with design team members to meet project milestones, contract requirements, and client expectations.
• Compile civil design plan sets and ensure accuracy across disciplines.
