Job summary

Bohler's Gaithersburg, MD office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) eager to learn and grow. You will work with engineers and project managers on land development projects, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management, while benefiting from mentorship and formal training.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree and 0–1+ years of relevant experience, with familiarity in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0-1+ years of site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not proficient).
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Assist with design from concept through construction with mentors.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Support preparation of stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Attend site visits and coordinate with project teams.
