Job summary

Bohler's Albany, NY office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who will work with engineers, designers, and project managers on site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management to bring land development projects to life.

This role offers hands-on learning, mentorship, and structured training in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with exposure to commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects and opportunities to grow into a professional engineer.

Qualifications

• 0-1+ years of site design/permitting experience or related field.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred (training provided).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including site planning and grading.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and project managers from concept through construction.
• Create site layouts, grading plans and utility designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Interpret design manuals and zoning regulations; address regulatory comments.
• Support stormwater management reports and project submittals.
