Performance Foodservice in Springfield, MO is seeking an entry-level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer or straight truck operation on local and interstate routes delivering food products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 0-6 months commercial driving experience (preferred).
• Valid CDL A with DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
• Ride with and assist driver trainer during deliveries.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and report safety issues.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
• Drive to deliver customer orders on assigned routes and unload at destination.
• Verify deliveries, collect signatures, and handle payments when required.
• Secure equipment and complete required paperwork and logs daily.
