Performance Food Group in Springfield, MO is seeking an entry level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer and local route deliveries. You will train under a driver trainer, perform safety checks, and learn to unload and document deliveries.

CDL A license is required, as is the ability to lift 60–90 lbs, and you must be 21+. This role includes daytime weekday hours with potential Saturdays and growth into a full driver position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL A license required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT Health Card required or ability to obtain.
• Pass post-offer drug test and road test.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and handle equipment.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete Driver Trainee or Dock-to-Driver training.
• Assist driver trainer with deliveries and follow instructions.
• Perform pre/post-trip safety checks per DOT regulations.
• Drive to deliver orders per schedule and unload at customer sites.
• Complete required paperwork and obtain signatures on delivery.
