Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare patients and perform ultrasound exams per related protocols ensuring safety and quality.
• Identify patient needs and communicate care with physicians and caregivers.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Maintain equipment and work area and stock supplies.
• Support quality improvement processes and initiatives.
• Educate caregivers, fellows and students as appropriate.
