Qualifications

• Echo Technician I ARDMS/CCI certification required; BLS for healthcare providers.
• Echo Technician II ARDMS/CCI certification; may require multiple registries per dept.
• Must meet Echo/Vascular Technologist I qualifications; obtain two registries as applicable.
• Minimum 1500 studies completed or supervised as credential-related benchmark.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for exam by patient identification, education, and transport.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and maintain quality and safety.
