Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers, Boise, Idaho, is seeking an Entry-Level Bridge Structural Engineer (0-2 yrs exp). You will support the bridge group on impactful infrastructure projects across Idaho, collaborating with ITD, local agencies, and municipalities. Grow through multidisciplinary teams, site visits, and client coordination.

The role emphasizes design, analysis, and collaboration, with a focus on professional development, safety, and delivering quality project work across the state.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• EIT certification.
• Up to two years of experience in structural engineering; Idaho exposure preferred.
• Previous work or internship in structural/bridge engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in structural/bridge engineering software and design codes (AASHTO LRFD, AISC, ACI).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for bridges using structural software, finite element software, and/or spreadsheets.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports for new construction and/or evaluation of existing structures.
• Conduct site visits to understand project conditions and requirements.
• Communicate clearly with project team members and clients, supporting effective project delivery.
